As we have found, not having a localista or having the organizer not be a localista makes it harder.

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
(not saying that Pasadena wouldn't be a good choice--just that I'd hate to see Vegas out of he running because other people go there frequently)
Oh absolutely! Although I will do my darndest to promote the heck out of my city, I will happily attempt to attend any F2F, wherever it ends up.
Lessee, on the West Coast, we've had LA, Seattle and SF, right?
2020, we're going international, right? I'm thinking London or Greece! (Joking. I couldn't afford freaking Denver this year, and it's almost next door.)
Watch, Barb will prove me wrong. ::grin::
Not this Cuban girl ::grins back::-- I'm more than happy to let other folks do the organizational/pimping-- especially this coming year when all my organizational skills will be going towards my 20th anniversary trip to Hawaii. However, I will do my damnedest to finally make it to an F2F this year.
I will say that if it is west coast this year - we will do our damnest to attensd
I'm going to do my darndest to attend, whatever city it's in, even though I'm spending All The Money right now in France. But I'm also racking up frequent flier miles like a boss.
organizing a F2F in a city you don't know (ahem, Chicago, and I'd STILL like to find a way to add that to my resume)
::coughwashingtondccough:: me, too, tho' luckily I don't have to worry about the resume bit any more.
And yay to javacat! I didn't mean to diss your mad org skillz and prop my ego up -- I didn't know.
GO TEAM US!
In Seattle tomorrow! And then LA and Denver, Boulder, and Chicago (or close-ish). I'll be checking in here and email while I'm on the road, too.
Wish me safe travels! And no exploding carry-on.
You will have amazingly safe travels because you wished it for me and it worked. And I get to see you in like 3 days!! Woo and hoo!!
