I'm in. I know at least H and I will be at the reading-signing, and hanging out in Amy's hotel room after sounds like fun. H can find something to do if it's just us goils.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
SFistas! I am coming to your city on Saturday 10/15 and Sunday 10/16. I don't have my itinerary finalized yet, but I am thinking of exploring the city itself on Saturday. On Sunday, my birthday, I am planning to do a winery tour during the day, but would love to have a birthday dinner somewhere with people.
I know I am mostly a lurker, but since October is delurking month, I hope to meet up with people and delurk face to face.
I welcome any suggestions of what to see, where to go, etc.
d! ::pounce!:: will not be in SF but will be toasting your birthday. Good to see your pixels.
I'd love to meet you while you are out here, d!
I always recommend a walk around the Mission. Taquerias! Bi-Rite! Paxton Gate! The pirate store! Borderlands! Mission: Comics and Art!
What sort of things do you like to see in cities?
People need to stop coming to SF when I am out of town.
P-C, I've never been to SF, so I want to see some of the expected things, like the trolley car, but other than that I'm pretty open to suggestions. I've been planning the rest of my trip and haven't really gotten to the SF part yet.
Also, I need housing on the not so expensive end - are there particular places I should look? (Alternatively, I make a good houseguest, if anyone wants company!)
Yeah, I am really sorry that I won't be able to put you up, d. My house repairs start this Thursday and won't be done until the last week of October.
I *do* hope I'll get to spend some time with you, though! I will likely be out of the town though the weekend of the 15th. The timing (for me)is just poopy all around.
Oh darn! I fly back out Monday, so I'm not sure I'm going to get a chance to see you after all. (On a totally unselfish note, hope your home repairs go smoothly and even surprise everyone by being done sooner than later. Upheaval sucks.)
I'll have my car, y'all and can drive and hello, SUV-- and in Lynnwood, we'll be close to that branch of Celtic Bayou, if'n folks are interested.
As someone who has eaten at Celtic Bayou, I will say the food is tasty. The concept of the place is kind of nutty, but the food is great.
This.
