May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm so happy that I may get to see you, but if your signing starts at 7pm, you won't be done in time to see Show at 8pm, will you? I don't know how it goes but I guessed they would want you to spend at least an hour at the store.

Eta: also, guess what book I'm reading on my Kindle right now. AIFG!!

Ok, Plan B. We come to my place after Tattered Cover, watch it on Tivo, then get Amy to her hotel.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

There's no SPN on the night you're in Seattle--but is there a chance the locals could take you to dinner before or after your signing in Lynnwood?

Because books.

Oh, Mountain Time. Forgot about that. Shit. Plan B works, though!

After the event would probably work, Bev -- we have to be at the store at 6 p.m. before the signing.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

There is an Egg Harbor Cafe right down the street from the bookstore in Naperville. [link]

“Not dead yet!”

There's a place called Celtic Bayou nearby-- Irish/Cajun hybrid cuisine.

Jesus, is every hotel everywhere non-smoking now?

Pretty much.

Irish/Cajun hybrid cuisine.

HMOG, LOL.

Because books.

I know there was historically a huge Irish population in New Orleans, but I don't have any idea what to make of "Irish/Cajun" cuisine.

As an Irish-American person living in New Orleans, neither to I. However, an actual Irish restaurant/gastropub just opened up on St. Charles, and it is pretty tasty. Except for the one time. They do a pub curry which is DELISH.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Irish/Creole would make a bit more sense than Irish/Cajun, I think.
