So now I can say that the main reason we couldn't come to the F2F was that I'd been plotting for a vacation on the cheap up in the PNW with ND, and the only week we were both free and I could get the great deal on the little cabin I found on the Oregon coast was this week...it was a surprise, so I couldn't say anything before now, but that's why we are here and not in Denver. Sad to miss the F2F, but the Oregon coast is ND's favorite place, and he hadn't been here in seven years. So...yeah. At least we're getting some mini-F2F up in Portland and Seattle, where we are briefly passing through to see friends.
ND and I have had three blissful days together away from work and stress, and it's been so nice. This is our first vacation together that didn't involve visiting family or me tagging along when he was working since our honeymoon.
Ooh, Oregon coast!! So pretty. If you're near there, head over to the aquarium in Newport--it's really cool.

Welcome to Denver! dcp, I hope you were able to connect with Laura and Brendon. If not, I'm definitely up for another Red Rocks run either Saturday or Sunday morning. Morning is the best time to go since they usually have concerts in the evenings.
I have a couple of little work things to wrap up this morning and then an appt at noon, so DH and I are free after 1pm. Laura said she'd text me and let me know when you all have had a chance to hook up so I know where to meet you this afternoon.

Hi dcp! We didn't get out there this morning so that trip will be rescheduled. DH ended up working until quite late. He is still asleep.

More bitter here. Though I did get to do some mini-F2Fing with P-C this week. And had a crazy awesome dinner (pictures to follow when I get a chance).
I really wish I could have joined you and P-C, brenda!! But, I only have just enough cash left to last me until payday next week, so no going out until then. That's what I get for paying off both my six-month insurance bill and the remainder of my tuition at the same time.
