We are here. The hotel is absolutely wonderful. The staff has been very nice. The place is beautiful with very comfy beds and pillows. We are on the 10th floor with a lovely view.

how about we meet you at the hotel Thursday around 6pm-ish?

Perfect. We can't wait to see people. We got in around 8 Denver time last night. Got the car; DH had to upgrade to the one he fits in of course. Checked in to the hotel and took the front desk person's suggestion of Garcia's and went to suck down a Margarita and Mexican food. Declaring vacation begun. Of course by this time it was past midnight as far as my body was concerned and we crashed in our very nice room.

Oh! I forgot to mention that when we got to the rental car place the sun was setting immediately behind a big ole mountain peak in most spectacular fashion. Just beautiful. The view from our room has snow capped mountains and cityscape. And I brought a camera! Will post some shots soon.

I'm all excited! And I get to finally meet Nonian! With extra added drama!

Yay for Laura in Colorado (and Brendan too). I wave northward from my office. Glad the hotel is comfy. The staff I worked with had been fantastic.

The front desk person who checked us in commented 3 times on the great rate we got. (not in a negative voice, but a WoW voice) Normal rate is over $200 plus $ for internet. It really is lovely. More pictures to follow.

More pictures, but not too many. We went for a nice long ride out to the mountains. Saw people water skiing at the park, saw lots of snow. Lovely day. And soon I get to see Nicole and Suzi!
