I wanna die in bed surrounded by fat grandchildren, but guess that's off the menu.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I got a guidebook (I always do) and the Wynkoop Brewery looks like it has potential.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Oh, I'll be there! I won't be able to get off of work, at least not too early, but I'm sure I can make it downtown by 5:00 if not earlier.

Sooooo there have been mistakes and shenanigans, and we've had to move the Second City show to Thursday.

Can Buffistas make a Habana Libre dinner on Tuesday? (Alternatively, of course, we can still have dinner on Thursday before the show. I was thinking Kamehachi.)

I might be able to do it a little earlier too.

Hmm. I'm working in Mountain View on Friday, so unless I blow off a meeting that ends at 5:30, I might not be able to get back to SF until 6:30 or 7.

Do we want to eat in MV? eta: and could you still make it if we did, -t?

Mountain View would work for me, it's similar travel either way.

I won't have a car in MV, and I'm planning to come back to SF via shuttle because of that. Eating in SF might be easier because I'll be closer to my hotel?

Edit: If eating closer to 7 won't work, I might be able to leave work early, but the earliest I can be in SF is between 5:30-6:10pm.

That makes sense. Seven is early enough that I can get in some quality socializing before I turn into a pumpkin, I think (pumpkin time TBD).

7:00 works for me!

(and if anyone wants to get a drink first cough-tcough), I can do that too.

How about this place [link] or this place [link]

Both about a third of a mile from your hotel

Yay, plan! I'm thinking I will BART in in the afternoon and be available for drinks as soon worker bees are free...
