LAistas, I'm in town for a hot minute, my dinner plans for tonight fell through. If anyone's up for dinner tonight, e me at my profile addy.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Vortex, I dropped you an email. Would love to see you if you didn't make other plans.
Hey, speaking of being visited by cool people, shrift is coming to SF soon, right?
Can we plan a sushi outing?
I am in favor of such an outing.
I know I have fallen behind in my F2F planning responsibilities. I just checked on our hotel bookings and so far there are only 5 rooms booked - one of which is mine. If you are planning on coming out but haven't booked a room yet, please do so as soon as possible.
I need to talk with the hotel on what our options are for such a small group and what costs we are already liable for.
On the plus side, I discovered that there is an gourmet walking tour the afternoon of the 25th. It is $49/person and sounds fun.
Great dinner with Pix last night. I'm home now. I didn't have a computer with me, and I hate posting on the iphone.
Suzi, we may need to consider another option for Prom. Maybe a group excursion to someplace awesome. I don't know what the options might be. We will have a car because we are staying for 6 days with the intention of exploring.
This reminds me that I need to ask one of my docs to prescribe me something for altitude sickness. When I last visited Colorado I was in misery for 2-3 days while my sea level body acclimated. Don't want. The pages I have read on the subject say to hydrate, which I knew, limit alcohol, oh well, and eat a higher than usual calorie diet! Woo! I can manage that one.
I'm sorry, but we're not going to make it this year. TCG just doesn't have enough PTO left to do Denver and our honeymoon trip.

Coca leaf tea worked wonderfully for me in Peru. It's of a fuzzy legal status here in the states, but if you can get some I recommend it highly.
Water, water, and more water is what has worked for Kelly during her visits.
I just checked the reservations, and we are down to 4 (plus Nicole and Stephanie, so I guess we are at 6). In addition to no prom, I'm thinking no hospitality room also. A couple of people have donated and at this rate I feel like I should refund that money.
Any advice on how to go forward with this is appreciated.
