F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Our wings are not tired.

So we made reservations this morning. Flying in Wednesday 22nd, out Monday 27th. See ya in Denver! Hotel and flights done, have to look at transportation later.

Still in sticker shock because I got the extra leg room options for both of us because Fort Lauderdale to Denver is just too long a trip to try and cram DH into a regular seat. Then I went for 5 nights at the hotel because I will be taking off for my summer in NY as soon as we get back and this will be the last F2F for Brendon and me for a while too.

Eeep! Can't wait! Must remember to superhydrate before I leave. The change from sea level kills me and I don't want to have altitude sickness this time. Any other tips to avoid this appreciated.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Ugh. I won't be making it to the F2F this year. My gorgeous kitchen backsplash took two days longer than it was supposed to, therefore almost doubling the cost in labor. Feh.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

arg! will miss Vortex, but look forward to seeing Laura and The Tall One (who will, I hope, arrive with his knees no worse than when he left).

Must make hotel reservations!

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, it was an insane $296 extra for upgrades to both of our seats for both flights. But I only had to remember being stuck in those regular seats for hours with Brendon's legs taking up half my space and decided it was for the best. $79 each for the exit row seats and $69 for the bulkhead. Nutso. I haven't even looked at the luggage rates yet. I may send a box of clothes UPS! (I doubt it since I am the lightest packer on the planet)

Suzi, would you please send me your snail mail address so that I can send you a check? I like to avoid paypal charges wherever possible.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

P-C -

Popping my head up from the seething mass of overwork and politics that my life has become to say that in a meeting yesterday one of the guys I'm working with had his desktop shared on the screen and I saw in his calendar a reservation for Moto this week. I talked to him later and he said he and his wife are total foodies and it is by far their favorite restaurant.

So excited. Or, you know, I will be when I have two seconds to breathe.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Because books.

Paging Scrappy and Scola: My schedule on Wed. the 25th is clear after about two or three. I don't want to get home too late, though, so I was thinking about taking a train out of Penn Station no later than eight, and possibly more like seven if possible.

Any thoughts about dinner, where and when? Cheap is sort of my only option, sadly.

I should really be more awake by this time of day.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Where will you be coming from?

I really don't visit Midtown, like, ever, so I'm not too familiar with what's there. How about here?
