Oh, Pacey! You blind idiot. Can't you see she doesn't love you?

Nope. Both the "normal" parking fee and wifi fee were negotiated as part of the room rate.

Thanks, Suzi!

I just saw the F2F post. I don't see how I can possibly come, but I've rarely seen one I want to come to more. I so need a vacation, and a vacation with Buffistas sounds like bliss right now. I hope there are still rooms once I get my housing situation figured out.

Being responsible really sucks sometimes.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I don't think I can make reservations until I get reimbursed for the plane tickets for the business meeting that I had to put on my own credit card. That will take at least a month, I'm sure. Bugger. I hope there will be rooms left.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Zen, I don't think the reservations are prepaid. The hotel just uses the credit card as a guarantee for no-shows. There's no charge unless you don't show up on your scheduled arrival date, or cancel after the deadline.

Book the room, and if you have to cancel, just make sure you do it before the deadline.

You're probably right - I'll try to remember to do it this weekend.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

And the deadline is 6 PM day of arrival so that's good. I usually try to set up a calendar reminder if I do things like that so it doesn't slip my mind if I can't go.

The number of blocked rooms is fairly generous, so we shouldn't run out of rooms. I also have a page where I can track the number of reservations made and if I see us running out of rooms (again, doubrful), I can give a head's up here and contact the hotel about increasing our block.

Oh, another F2F hotel room note. There are two rooms that adjoin the Hospitality Suite - a king and a double. I have reserved the king for myself. If anyone would like to specifically reserve the double, go ahead and make your reservation through the link above and then let me know. I will make sure the folks at the Marriott slot you into that specific room.

I hope someone is willing to make that plunge cause I'd hate for a poor unsuspecting non-buffista to end up in that room.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I really want to attend the F2F this year. I'm going to see how I can make it happen.
