And, for those interested, St. Louis is just a skip from the Gateway Grizzlies ballpark which is home of the Krispy Kreme cheeseburger. Holy Mother of God. So scary sounding and so tasty. And, yes, I did road trip 5 hours (each way) to have one this summer.

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Ooh, someone pimp Denver! I need a good excuse to go to Denver.
But I do know Erin is a fab cruise director.
And I dunno if hotels are still as recession-scared as they were last year (I think based on my readings of travel blogs, it's not as bad as it was), but last year the hotels were fighting for us, even though we're pretty small. It was still expensive to be downtown, but much less than their usual rate.
Has it been decided that Denver is middle? I know the discussion has gone back and forth but I'm not sure if there was a bullshit consensus.
The only way I'll be able to attend the F2F is if I con all y'all to come to me. I will pimp.
I think that it you think you're middle, you pimp. PIMP, BABY, PIMP!!!
Yeah, I think if you pimp it they will come. Or, um, something.
Does it count as BS consensus if nobody countered me when I said
if someone is willing to pimp a city and someone is willing to be our local representative then I'm fine with a loose definition of what "Middle" is.
I'll go with it. Gathering information and will post pimpage soon.

So do I!
I will add my $0.02 to the KC pimpage, on the side of those people with young'uns: The Deanna Rose Children's Farm in Overland Park is awesome. [link]
Additionally, I have to say that some of the best brunches evah are to be found in KC. I know not why, but it is true.
I'm already waffling on where to go! I've never spent any time in either KC or St. Louis, so they both sound very interesting. I like the thought of St. Louis because it's a medium day's drive for me. I could even make a pre-stop in Chicago to carpool with others. But KC has some interesting stuff, too, and with 3 weeks of vacation to burn every year I could take my time and drive out there, also. ::bites fingernails:: This shouldn't be so hard already!
