However, I would say that the pimper/organizer should live in or have intimate knowledge of the city

Why?

Because what self-respecting city would want to be pimped by a total stranger?

I'm from Minnesota (grew up in Mankato, went to college in St. Paul) and while I haven't lived there for a couple of decades, both of my sisters still live in the Cities and I'd be happy to ask them to scout out places for you in Minneapolis if you want someone to visit the hotels and report back. I'm pretty close, Nicole--if you look at the water, then turn around, I'm about...1.5 miles? But it's all uphill from downtown. :)

So yeah, I am free tomorrow! Though probably not early, cause...weekend. But I can show you where the good coffee is...and there's plenty of halloween fabulousness in my 'hood!
