Does anybody mind if I pass out?

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Kristin, Fay, Juliana: HUSH.

Cashmere: Yes, totally. It would be a crime to not take Buffistas to the Sci Fi Museum.

Our wings are not tired

The Sci Fi Museum is cool. The rock and roll museum I wasn't really impressed by.

Yeah, it's part of the same building but it's way less of a draw for me. I'm sure some peeps will want to visit it, tho'.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

We spent a lot of time in the RnR museam -- but we were there on a weekday and spent hours plying t with the guitars . drums/pianos that taught yo how to play. we spent more time looking at the guitars on display. Of course Matt can give a half hour to three hour lecture on a single guitar.... We did not get to the Sci Fi Museum -- but next time - hopefully at this F2F. But job for Matt first , then vacation

Yeah, see, I enjoyed the RnR museum more than the SciFi museum...the SF museum seemed more like "Oooh, look, here are random artifacts behind glass" whereas the Rock and Roll one was interactive, which I enjoyed.

(I think I would've totally been more impressed by the SciFi one when I was 13...)

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

I'm going to seriously start planning to be able to attend this year. Seeing Seattle runs a close second to meeting Buffistas. I haven't worked out the details yet, but there is hope.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

It's looking more and more like I'll be able to make it this year.

keeps fingers crossed

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Yay! And I hope to be able to make it this year. Bad boss is now ex-boss.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm going to have to wait and see. If business turns around by late spring, I'm hopeful I can attend. but if I have to take a salary cut I'll likely be using my tax refund for shelter and food rather than airfare.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

* Except for the Underground Tour. That's awesome.

I was totally going to ask about that. I remember when I was a kid, I saw the second Kolshack TV movie (The Night Strangler), and the climax took place in the underground city part of Seattle. I've always wanted to see that IRL.
