Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

We're a tiny bit behind schedule too. We're headed out now and hope to be there a little after 3!

information libertarian

Okay, I am looking at kid-friendly stuff we could do if we came by tomorrow (we are on the Cape now and need to be in suburban Boston for dinner tomorrow). There's Roger Williams Park, which has a zoo, carousel/ride area, lake with paddleboats, natural history museum, and various other stuff. The park is free; the zoo and rides and museum have various fees, and at least some mention no credit cards. [link] Looks like it's exit 16/17 (Elmwood) off I-95, and accessible by Bus 12 or 20.

Those who are getting in tonight, want to discuss at dinner and see if that sounds like something people want to meet up with us and do, maybe afternoon tomorrow? We need to be active & kid-friendly, and this sounds like the best bet in Providence, though I've never been there and I'm not sure how public transport-friendly or generally accessible it is (looks like quite a bit of walking, given the Google maps view, and the parking question is unresolved). I'll be checking the thread (can't reach gmail on this internet connection) and Trudy has my cell.

Our wings are not tired.

We are checked into hotel. Will be wandering around a bit shortly.

sj, call me when you get here so Brendon and I can help you get stuff to suite.

Flea, we would be happy to join you at the zoo tomorrow.

Laura, I will call you as soon as we get there.

For dinner tonight I have reservations for me, TCG, Zen, Trudy, dcp, Frank, Laura, and Laura's DH for Alforno's at 7 pm. If you are not on this list and you intend on joining us for dinner I need to know ASAP so that I can adjust our reservations.

The status is NOT quo.

Trudy had left me a message about tonight, so I just want to make sure up you all know I won't be in until tomorrow afternoon. Looking forward to seeing you all!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've sent mail -- but to make sure you see that I'm in for dinner. I just have to stop dithering over the selection of clothes that I could possibly need for a day and a half, you know?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

I'm checked in -- room 905.

Our wings are not tired.

Hey dcp, we are in 907.

Catching a quick nap since I drove here from Otter Lake starting out at 5:30 this morning.

Zoo tomorrow sounds good to us too.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Trudy's number is wrong on the contact list, and we cannot get into her suite with the goodies until she gets here.

We're headed to McFadden's around the corner for drinks with Frank now if anyone wants to join.

I also have directions printed for tonight if anyone wants them.
