Right now it is hot and humid, but occassional showers are being mentioned. My best advice is bring layers.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Weather.com is saying highs in the mid 80s and lows of low 60s.
Trudy and Zenkitty, call me when yóu're settled in so we can bring up the goodies.
If my plans gang not agley tomorrow, we should arrive around 3pm.
Warm, humid, possible rain, ok. Thanks!
I think the weekend is supposed to be less humid and slightly cooler than today (which is wicked gross).
I'm expecting I'll be in shorts for most of the weekend, regardless.
I'll be dressier than that for the prom (but not real dressy) but for Friday, I'm wondering: is Al Forno casual enough for nice shorts/short sleeve shirt?
I didn't bring anything dressy with me to Otter Lake so who knows how I will dress. I'll have clothes on.
darn
Does anyone think they'll be a need for me to bring my car? I don't think I'll have enough stuff to make it a necessity. The train is a minor annoyance (since I can't get directly from North Station to South Station), but it will also cost less than parking/gas would. From checking on Google maps, it doesn't look like either of the dinner spots is unreasonable walking distance (and the Hotel is only about a 1/2 mile from the train).
What are everyone's plans for Saturday day?
I'm driving up, so I can drive people to the restaurants if needed.
"Not unreasonable walking distance" for me this weekend is probably gonna top out at about 200 feet.

I have no plans. I may bring Leverage DVDs.

Heh, wheras "a few miles each way" is reasonable distance for me. At least at the moment, as none of my joint ailments are acting up (bad knees, bad ankles, bad toes - le sigh). I'm also glad my back seems to have recovered from throwing it out due to coughing.
Anyone driving up tonight, a big chunk of the Northeast is under a severe thunderstorm/tornado warning right now. (NYC metro area up to CT, more or less.)
