Buffy? I like that. That girl's so hot, she's buffy.

Frank, you're on the list. I can't wait to go back there.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Since Zenkitty and Trudy have been so generous as to offer the other room of their suite as a gathering place for us during the F2F, I was wondering what goodies people wanted to fill it with. Just let me know, and I am happy to take care of it.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

PROVIDENCE F2F UPDATE

1. Anyone having last minute "wanna goooo!" pangs? We've still got three rooms on hold for a few more days.

2. Imma distribute the contact sheet Monday. Get on it while the gettin is good! Especially if you're a local who won't be staying at the hotel.

Kthxby

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

DC-istas, i have enough of a parental reprieve for brunch on Saturday June 26....anyone interested in meeting up downtown for brunch? I recall Asylum in Adams Morgan having a lovely vegan brunch, and hear tell that Sticky Fingers now offers brunch, of which i have never had the pleasure of partaking. Nomnomnom

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've been wanting to try the Sticky Fingers brunch, and Asylum is also really good. I'll most likely be free.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I'll be free after church - noon-ish.

I have a thing in the afternoon, but if we did brunch at 11ish, I could at least swing by for coffee.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I'll be in PA helping my mom recuperate from eye surgery that weekend. I'm so sorry I won't get to meet you.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Alas, that weekend I'll be helping run Conterpoint, the North East Filk convention. (in Rockville)
