Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

In a hideous twist of fate and scheduling, i will be in DC the weekend of the F2F helping my mother with home improvement projects. If there will be any F2F rejects in the NoVa area, maybe we could console each other one evening? I'm pretty sure that if i work really hard for a couple days Mom will let me take the car downtown one evening ;P

(i got keep one of my three weeks of vacation, so i still get to make the east coast trip, it'll just be too short to venture beyond the parental's immediately area)

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Well, erin, I'll either be at the F2F or in the vicinity of NoVa that weekend, and if I dither much longer the decision, I suspect, will be made for me.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I will be in the DC-area the weekend of the F2F. To be specific, Rockville. However, I will be helping run Conterpoint, this year's iteration of the floating East Coast filk con, which is why I'm not going to be at the F2F. Ah, well.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sean! Italy! Molto bene! Gelato and pasta and fresh mozzarella and gorgeous churches and the Duomo and the Arno! True florentine smells!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Sean, have a wonderful time in Italy! Speaking of which, weren't we talking a couple years back about a bunch of us renting a Tuscan villa together? I still think it would be a fabulous idea.

Sean, my sister and niece were Italy for a summer and they looooved it. I am officially jealous.

Dude. Can we, huh? Can we?

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Sean, I am so jealous. You are going to have a fabulous time. Tuscany is beautiful this time of the year.

When you go out to eat, ask for the vino da tavola (house wine, but literally translated as table wine). Most are homemade, and are really, really good. It's the Italian equivalent of a microbrew. God, now I'm hungry and thirsty.
