I'm glad I decided to go to DC instead of Boston.
Hey!
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Hey!
Okay, so no one wants to take a reservation for brunch. well, maybe someone will, but I'm too impatient. So, let's meet at Creme Cafe, at 1322 U Street NW at 11. It shouldn't be too hard to get in. And there's a lot of stuff to look at/do on U street if we have to wait. It's metro accessible, and there's street parking. If you want to check out the menu, it's www.cremedc.com
Hey!
Amtrak wasn't running to Boston today. The tracks were flooded in RI or something.

Sadly, I think the entire state was flooded. SO glad my sister doesn't live in Westerly anymore, but I am concerned about her husbands folks who live the next town over even though it is CT.

Oh, OK then.
Crossing my fingers you get both options Javachick!
I think I'm not going to be able to make it to brunch today. I woke up feeling sick and just have no energy to do anything other than go back to sleep.
Sox? Options?
@ javachick -the Aunt visit & the F2F ? Mayhaps I. misread.
Oh, sorry. Nope, it's settled. She's coming to visit me on the June 26/27 weekend, and she leaves to go back to Kenya the week after. I could only go to a F2F in July, and unfortunately, that's not the date of the F2F. It's really a bummer, because I was so stressed out about my puppy last year that I didn't get to go. I was so looking forward this year. Prom is pretty much the only dancing I ever get to do.
My Aunt Sharon's church is able to bring her to the states about once every three years. And the past 4 visits she's made to the states, she's been kept too busy by the church (on fundraising and teaching) to get up to SF for a visit. I've gone down to LA and visited, but it's kind of like your parent not seeing where you live for 15 years, ya know? And getting 1:1 time with her is very, very special. Getting 1:30 time with Buffistas is also very, very special, but it's available to me every year (I hope!).
