Our wings are not tired.

Not I. Aunt Sharon checked and the only time she can visit me is that weekend. I've been waiting years for the visit (since 1995) so I am sad but that's that.

Sorry, up until a few days ago it looked like a good weekend for me, now it's a no go. I didn't vote for any of the dates since I didn't know if my work would change at the last minute and with this short of a lead time I can't afford to block dates and lose the contract and it's just not enough time to get my clients to adjust to my schedule.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So it looks like I'm coming down to DC on Friday evening, and leaving some time Saturday.

Anyone available for brunch on Saturday?

Yep. Do you have a preference for food type? Also, you have email.

The breakfast type of food. Other than that, I'm easy.

Yes, we know ;). Anyone else interested in brunch on Saturday?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Unless my family decides to descend on me again next weekend, I could get to DC for brunch.

I'm interested, but my parents might be visiting, so until they figure it out, I'm on the fence.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Crap. It looks like I'm going to be in PA for Easter weekend. That may change between now and then though... if it does I will make sure I touch base with Vortex.

Re Juliana's ideas for streamlining --

One thing that might help: I updated the RFP that I wrote for the DC F2F to include the data from the years post-Washington, thanks to meara's info from prior years. If I could get the info Laura and Ginger had stored on their websites, (Insent email last week or the week before), I'd be happy to keep it up to date in the future. Then at least we don't have the annual "what did we do last year, or the year before that?"

Perhaps we could just post it with link in this thread? I don't know how to do that if it isn't an URL - someone who knows more tell me how, or to whom should I email it?

Re dates: let's do a new vote on different dates if Kristin and Drew think that there is some other weekend that wasn't mentioned already that they could both go. I'm game, anyway.

sj, the Providence convention people replied to the RFP. Shall I forward to you?
