To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

I am TOTALLY about convenience. Not that I'm opposed to Philly -- I am large with Philly love -- but I suspect once again we'll end up having to skip it if it's there. Juggling a million balls right now, including possibly being out of town right before the dates.

I'm definitely down with the Providence idea. And depending on the timing, if it IS Providence, I can possibly act as shuttle service too and from Logan for a group, if some folks are flying in there instead, or for local-istas.

The status is NOT quo.

...So if you had to choose between the F2F and a free transatlantic cruise with your husband (who will be working), which would you choose? I'm honestly torn.

It depends... where is the cruise's destination port, and is it one of the Disney ships?

It goes from England to NYC, and it's the inaugural voyage of the new Norwegian Epic. Nickelodeon is doing some kids-themed stuff on board and Drew is their TD, but the ship itself is mainly adults and has Blue Men Group and a Cirque show and all kinds of cool stuff. But I'd have to come up with money to fly to England (though one way), I'd be stuck on a boat with no ports for a week while Drew was working at least part of the time, and the Atlantic might be rough. Hm.

ETA: Add to this that D is gone for about 6-7 weeks this spring/summer already, and this is the first time I'm off work and could go with him.

Also, don't forget the icebergs. They don't like inaugural voyages.

Speaking of heading across the pond instead of the East Coast, I was shocked to learn that my brother is interested in coming to France with me this time around, instead of coordinating a Vermont trip. Amazing.

Our wings are not tired.

Kristin, are you talking about not being there on June 26/27 now?

If I went, yeah. D just got the update today, so he won't be able to go to the F2F regardless. But honestly, I don't think I have the money to fly over to England anyway. It's just hard to pass up an opportunity like that!
