Based on past experience, holiday weekends tend to run into family obligations for a lot of folks. Otherwise that list looks good to me.

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Yeah, I thought about that with the holiday weekends, and I think July 4th would hike prices a lot. I don't know if Memorial Day might be worth considering, though, as it tends to have a lower number of family obligations and would give people a chance to have that Monday off.
Honestly, this is all kind of moot for us since it's looking like Drew's schedule may make it impossible for us to even have our East Coast reception/BBQ/gathering on the date we'd planned.
Maybe May 29-30 (Memorial Day Weekend), June 5-6, June 12-13, June 19-20, June 26-27, July 3-4 (July 4th weekend), July 10-11, and July 17-18?
New York/Weehawken-wise June 12-13 and 26-27 have problems.
Oy voting these things our is a tangle, isn't it?

Oh, noes!
The reservations agent at the Holiday Inn in Philly said to stay away from all holidays, especially July 4th because that's prime Philly history-buff-patriotic-tourist rates (>$300).
java, you can refer them to me, but I will say that email is better, and I am going to be a little tense and preoccupied until I hit my deadline on April 1.

Okay. I can help again when I get back from London on the 23rd.
So if we said:
June 5-6, June 19-20, July 10-11, and July 17-18 to get rid of known problematic dates? That seems like a fair range of possibilities.
That sucks, Kristin. Do you know when you might be able to resched?
Oh, noes!
Yes that's what we've been thinking. It's also why we've been stressing a little about when the F2F might happen, as dates get closer and closer it's harder and harder for me to juggle travel schedules.
I did just get an email that makes it look like our east coast reception will be safe, so that's good at least.
Father's Day is June 20th, which may affect some people's plans.
Are we down to two cities, NYC and Philly, or is there official pimpage for a third? I know we'd talked about a few other places, but I haven't seen anyone say anything about them recently.
If not (given the restrictions Trudy noted), I say we vote Philly vs. NYC and then go to date from there.
