I have to look through my Budget Travel "25 things we love about Fort Worth", but one thing I know I want to do for either dinner or lunch is hit Tim Love's Love Shack burger & shake shack, which is right by my hotel in the cultural district. The sales rep I'm working with just went to his bistro and said it was amazing, but I think that would be abusing my T&E card a bit for my first business trip.

Well, we have to have someone willing to pimp each city. It is important to remember that you can pimp without living in the city if you know about it.
I am happy to take the lead on planning if someone wants to pimp, but not plan.
One of the aspects of pimping your city is the hotel/prom. There is a standard Buffista proposal that we submit to hotels. It includes things like wifi, hospitality suite, etc.
After people have the opportunity to pimp, then we vote. I can't remember if we do the city or the date first. Did we determine if one was better than the other?

I would pimp Durham, NC, but I'm slightly loathe to make the effort since 1) pretty much all it would win on is cost and 2) the heat factor will very likely rule it out.
