Clearly, Large Marge was looking out for you that day.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
That's very cool, Jon!
That's awesome, Jon! Sometimes things do work out.
I am so glad you got to go to the aftershow! He was amazingly open, I thought. It felt like a conversation rather than a presentation. There were crazy fans there and he managed to be kind to them while still not indulging their crazy, which I found admirable. Nobody asked about the arrest or anything, but he made a couple of references to it and was just a smart, interesting person.
oh ... Drew and Kristin - your wedding pictures looked lovely - and you both look so HAPPY. And everyone at your party/reception looked so happy - celebrating a happy day with happy people! what could be better?

Sounds like we had very similar experiences. He was especially kind to a couple of kids who were there. He let one 8 year old take his picture and spent a lot of time answering a 13 year old who asked if he had any advice for an aspiring filmmaker and actress. He asked her about the short film she said she'd made and then gave her what I thought was some real grown-up advice: 1) Don't get into it unless you have such a passion for it that you can't imagine doing anything else, and 2) You need to find a way to get satisfaction for what you do from within yourself. Applause isn't always going to be there, so the only way to be happy in this business is to satisfy yourself.
Jon, that's excellent!
you both look so HAPPYThanks, Toddson. It truly was an amazingly happy event, and I am (deeply, profoundly) happy to be married to Drew and to have been able to celebrate that with the people we love.
Hey K, will you be posting the picture slide show you played during the reception?
Excellent question, Aims. We certainly could. Honestly, we threw the whole thing together the night before, and I think it lives on one of D's rental computers. Maybe he will check in later and let us know how difficult that would be.
I've never seen the whole thing, so I'd like that.
