'Dirty Girls'

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Who did the rain dance?? I'd blame Jilli, but she and Pete sadly can't come.

Don't look at me! It used to rain every Presidents' Day Weekend when I'd visit Los Angeles, but I haven't been back since 2004.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, we`re getting the same three giganto storms, but it`s going to be ice and snow by the tine it gets here. At the higher elevation of our towns, they`re saying three to five feet. Hope it doesn`t mess with all y`all`s travel.

The status is NOT quo.

I'm just hoping the last storm moves a bit faster than the others so it's not raining by Saturday night. That's all I want.

The status is NOT quo.

We just ordered the cake from a local bakery. It's going to look like the invitations and taste yummy. The main cake is whte with lemon filling and the backup sheet cake is white with hazelnut filling.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Ginger, I am checked into my hotel after a long day. I'm going to send my cell number to your profile address.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Lunch tomorrow possibility -- I passed by Loving Hut on Stockton and Vallejo, and it looked interesting, and the internet reviews are pretty good. (BTW, why does it seem like every vegan restaurant in SF is filled with propaganda for some group? Cafe Gratitude and Gracias Madre are Landmark Forum, Loving Hut is Supreme Master, and I think there was one other that I can't remember right now.)

I'm also fine with a non-vegan place that has vegan options, but those are harder to google or spot from a bus, and I don't know the area well enough to know where they are. (In DC or NY or NJ, I can name a ton of places where I can get vegan food and other people can get meat, but I don't know where places like that are in SF.)

Our wings are not tired.

Hil, maybe you're thinking of Ananda Fuara as the other place with weirdy backstory?

So it looks like I'm going to be in Vegas over Valentine's weekend. I've never been, so this should be interesting.

You must visit the Luxor. You'll feel like it's about to be swarmed by Jaffa at any moment. (Also, it has a great big spa with pool and massages and whatnot. Though sadly Isis and The Sacred Sea Room have closed since I was there.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Do you want Buffistas there to act as guides?
