This sounds like it may be more fun than the actual reception, but since it means I wouldn't get to wear my pretty dress again, I'm going to have to nix it. It's my last chance!
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
You can wear totally wear it!
There will be no burning of Kristin's pretty dress.
Unless she wants to. I mean, I'm not trying to boss her or anything. It's just a suggestion, really.
My car is broken and I don't think I can afford to get it fixed before the reception but if anyone wants to come get me I'm up for anything. Unfortunately I live 45-60 minutes from Pasadena. I do have a spare bed if anyone needs a place to crash.
Hil, did we ever make plans for dinner or brunch or anything? How long are you here for? I tried to scroll back to figure it out but there are too many other things going on, I couldn't glean.
Haven't made plans yet. I'm in town until Monday, so some time Saturday or Sunday would be good, with Sunday probably better than Saturday.
Excellent! I was thinking of going to the Contemporary Jewish Museum for the Maurice Sendak exhibit on Sunday, so could probably brunch before or lunch after or possibly even have dinner. And if you want to see the exhibit, of course, you're more than welcome to join.
I get in at 9:20 am friday so i have all day friday for lunches and dinners and generally having a lovely time and being sociable and such. I also fling myself upon the kindness of Buffistas in begging for rides :) I can totally chill at the airport until a little later in the morning....by 10am the traffic is usually waaaay better. Sunday will be less obnoxious as i don't need to be at the airport until the 3pm hour. Sadly, i won't be around for dinner on sunday but i got the latest flight i could to indulge in morning and early afternoon recovery.
Kristin - of course there wouldn't be burning of the pretty dress! Just bring a sacrificial bathrobe or something.
I don't get in til 9:30am Saturday. And then I'll probably need a nap, since I'll be leaving Seattle at such an ungodly hour! But since I'm staying for work, I'm around til Monday night!

I definitely want to see that exhibit! I'd been trying to figure out when I could fit it in.
I get in to Burbank Friday night and Aimee and I are staying at the Universal Sheraton. I leave early Sunday afternoon.
