All is well that ends in pizza.

Oh, as usual, dear.

“Not dead yet!”

I'm ashamed to admit I once actually owned that 45.

But you recovered and we're here for you now, dear.

Because books.

As I'm cursing at my life?! And bitter from the sweet?!

I've been to Paradise, Washington. I wonder if they'll tear it down to put up a parking lot...

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've been to Hell, MI. It wasn't all that.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I've never been to me.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

But have you been to ME?

Not javachik

I have no idea what song you're talking about but Portland Maine would be awesome. Or even Bangor, maybe I already said that. Bangor (and Pittsburgh) is in Outside or Conde Nast Traveler or one of those mags as a really cool city.

A hot humid place is only doable IMHO if you have a hotel or condo or room right on the water. But, yeah, off season sports places often have great deals. I just don't know what they are on the East Coast. Out here, Mammoth, Jackson Hole, etc. etc. ski resorts during summer are gorgeous and relatively cheap, though not easy fly-ins, usually.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I have no idea what song you're talking about

Both Portland and Bangor would be expensive because of the in-season timing. Also, they'd both be an extra plane or car ride (quite long in the case of Bangor) for almost anyone not coming from Boston or NYC. As much as I love Maine in the summer, one or both of those things rules it out for our F2F, I think.

If Boston ever comes together, then Kittery is a good day trip for those who want to pay their respects at LL Bean.
