We could do Philly this year (for East Coast) and Nashville next year (for Midwest).

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I love Philly. But after missing Seattle, I'm not missing the next one, even if it's held in Hell.
Ooh, put my vote down for Philly! I can drive out and see my family in southern NJ for a few days before or after the F2F and have double the reason to come out.
I'm tempted to pitch Nashville, but don't really want to volunteer to do all the planning and coordinating that it would involve, so.
You can totally pitch. Someone else can plan and coordinate, but you would be the person on the ground, seeing places, taking photos if possible, doing the grocery store runs ;)
Nashville would be FUN.
Nashville's not on the East Coast. Wouldn't it have to wait for the Central location?
What about Boston? Why are none of the five billion Buffistas in beantown pimping it?
We ADORED Nashville on our recent trip there. Lovely architecture, great food, lots of cultural goodies and all round coolness.
Philly, Providence, or Nashville, all sound good to me. If we do Philly, I can make some good memories to overwrite the bad memories I have of it now! (Minor bad, not major bad.) Also, all of those are within a not-totally-unreasonable driving distance for me, so I wouldn't have to fuck around with airplanes.

I was going to argue for a more lenient definition of "East Coast," but then I checked a map and Nashville's practically on par with Chicago, longitude-wise.
I thought Boston had been considered before, and it turned out that it's just too damn popular--just between Harvard, Tufts, BU and MIT, there's stuff going on almost every weekend of the year, even in a down economy Boston-area hotels don't have much incentive to give the awesomecakes package deals we've been able to negotiate in most other cities (weirdly, the same problem as with Vegas, possibly the only thing Boston and Vegas have in common).
Or am I misremembering? Which I'd love to be, 'cause I adore Boston and Boston with Buffistas would be even better.
