Glad to here the McWaringles arrived safe and sound.
In the city there are buses and cabs, but to go to the other cities, it would probably be easiest to carpool.
There are also train options to Boston (MBTA and Amtrak). I'm not sure if the commuter rail one runs all the way to Providence on the weekends, though.
Had dinner with TB on Saturday. Thanks for the conversation, dude.
Take care of our Scola! I would like him well-fed and rested in PDX, please.
What's the plan for N&T at Toronado tomorrow night? If my jetlag doesn't kill me, I might be able to join y'all after the Margaret Atwood reading I'm attending (around 9). Think you'll still be there?
I tried to lead the herd of us to Alembic but it was too crowded.
Should have come to see me....
Should have come to see me....
You were more than two blocks away.
Okay, y'all, are there plans tonight for Toronado??! I don't want to be demanding, but I demand to know! I really want to meet Nora and Tom!
java, Nora said they'll be at Toronado for drinks by 5 or so, and they'll stay until they have to leave for their dinner reservation at 8. I think that means you'll miss them, sadly.
Oh, damn. My dinner/Margaret Atwood plans were set long ago, so I can't get out of them.
I guess I'll have to go to Boston! But still, DAMN.
Thanks for letting me know, P-C.
Naturally, I am working tonight, starting at 4. People are of course welcome to stop by, however.
