Giles: I jump out of the circle, jump back in, and, and, shake my gourd. Buffy: Hey, I think I know this ritual. The ancient shamans were next called upon to do the Hokey-Pokey and to turn themselves around.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, your email address isn't in your profile- want to email me and I'll respond?

Done!

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I'm presenting at the EcoNvergence in Portland Friday October 2 through Sunday October 4. It features Noam Chomsky, Mark Weisbrot and other lefty and liberal economists, environmentalists and activists. [link]

The main locations is the First Unitarian Church, 1035 SW 13th Ave. Portland, Oregon 97205. Sunday will be at PSU.

My presentation is 1:30 P.M. Friday the 2nd at the Unitarian Church. I'm going to be free Saturday night from 6:30 P.M., and probably can get free a bit before. So if anyone wants to arrange a Saturday face-to-face in Portland my profile email is good.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

It seems like October in SF and Napa are the places to be, but it looks like I may be in upstate NY in December for a wedding instead. I don't have firm travel dates yet, except the wedding is probably December 12th. I'm kind of looking at flying into Newark (Newark?!, but that's where Alaska Airlines goes), then taking the training to Penn Station and thence the train to Rochester. I could, perhaps, connect with -istas in NYC and/or the Rochester area. My profile addy is good for travel suggestions, meet-up possibilities, or really, just about anything from a Buffista.

Typo, I am not in Portland currently but should be home by Saturday. If I am, I will email about hanging out.

If you email me Saturday, I will be on the road, and have a much easier time checking my gmail address, than comcast.

Glipow AT gmail.com is a good address to email me at rather than my profile Addy.

[Edit] Now that I think about it, I've changed by profile addy to that.

Our wings are not tired.

I don't get in from Spain until 7:30 Sunday night, and I've got to go pick up my dogs. Sorry to miss out on the Eos fun! Toronado is a possibility though. :)

YAY Toronado!

Typo, I won't be back in Portland before you leave. Sorry I will miss you. I hope the conference goes well.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Sunday, October 4- we'll be at Eos for their Happy Hour 5:30-7pm. We don't have any dinner plans that night, maybe we can migrate somewhere or continue nibbling at Eos because the menu looks yummy and JZ has provided her seal of approval. Oh! And JenK will be there.

I am bartending at Starbelly that night - 16th and Market. Peeps are welcome to come by and try our nibblies and beer/wine selection - we have a fairly deep bottled beer list.
