Pete, the co-worker I bought one book for emailed me yesterday to tell me how much she LOVED the artwork.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Did anyone else hear that old shampoo commercial "and then she told 2 friends, and so on" or how ever it went. LOVE the viral impact of the book!
With *this* book, the more appropriate phrase is "Turn 2; the rest are food."
Actually, Steph, I learned that there is no established Goth cuisine. Besides asparagus and strawberries.
Not the blood of the innocent?
Apparently not! I thought they would use it as a condiment at least.
Curious. We all remember the "and so on" commercial--good work there, ad agency! But do we remember the brand of shampoo? Maybe not so good work there, ad agency.
Wasn't it Pantene? (Mind you, I never actually bought a bottle, but that seems like the brand I remember associated with that ad...)
It was Jaclyn Smith wasn't it?
Apparently not! I thought they would use it as a condiment at least.
It stains. Fashion, THEN comfort, *always*.
With *this* book, the more appropriate phrase is "Turn 2; the rest are food."
Hee! I was muttering that the other day for some reason. I wish I could remember why.
Oh, I slept in! I slept for 11 glorious hours. And today is Gothy Upkeep day, what with doing loads of black laundry, painting my nails, arcane skin care stuff, and chatting with my genius seamstress friend about a convention I've been invited to be a panelist at in August. (There's a Gothic Lolita con happening in Bellevue, and they invited me. Obviously I need new fabulous clothes for this. OBVIOUSLY.)
But I miss my peoples. I really really miss my peoples.
