Do you need more Jilli?
How about 73 minutes of Jilli?
That's not a typo.
Seventy three minutes.
Jilli made an appearance on Queenie TV. This was filmed after the LA signing. Much fun was had. Jilli and Queenie really were separated at birth.

Yes, I have a cameo. Or two.
Pete and Jilli, where are you headed next? At some point I need to get another book signed by you. The family I brought Friday night? With the almost-teen who looked uninterested the entire time? Well it turns out she was acting bored but listened to everything and went home and talked to her parents for the rest of the evening...all about Jilli.
I need to get her a book, signed, that reads "Thank goodness you're a teenager now and past the Miley Cyrus days!" or some such. She turns 13 in October, so I've got some time.
And my final Seattle post is up.
At some point I need to get another book signed by you.
I could possibly get it signed at Comic-Con, although I don't know whether I'll be able to see them or not. Their appearance is around the time of the
Dollhouse
panel.
Ooh, P-C, that would be awesome. If not, I'm sure I'll figure out another way. I was just so stoked that Maggie was so into it! If she gets it as a gift, and takes it to school...and other kids want their own copy...it's all good.
If I can't make it to their booth, maybe Jilli and Pete and I can work out a way to meet some other time while they're there. We have phones!
:: sniff :: f2f is done. Last load is in the washer. Souvineer magnets are on the fridge. And I miss my peeps. Might have been my first one, but I'm hooked. More addictive than heroin.

the Buffistas, we are mighty.
I'm still missing everyone terribly. Need Buffista Island.

THIS!! Points up! Nods! And all other ! statements of agreement. I seem to recall in the 80's a math group calculated how many lotto tickets would need to be purchased to gain a statistical advantage, and then the group, en masse, buying specific tickets (so each person had a play of numbers). When the jackpot went over x amount, they would get in line with their stack of sheets. Maybe we smarties can do that with the inter-state lotto? (ok, maybe not, just an idea) But wouldn't we have the best schools and best theater in the world if we actually had our own town?
I had a lovely, if brief, visit to the DC environs. Sparky and DH's hospitality is still legendary. It was good to see Hil and I wish I got to see Vortex every week!
My talk went well and I survived the drive home, which is about all I could hope for. I went astray on 95 (as one does) but figured it out before I got to Raleigh, so yay.
Wish there was an NC book-signing. I still need to get my copy...
