Right. Piano. Because that's what we used to kill that big demon that one time. No, wait. That was a rocket launcher.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

The tower of wine has a hidden door that leads to the sommelier's desk inside.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yeah, I loved that place. I had dinner with my local friend on Friday, and then dragged people to it the next day for lunch. Well, it was really more tea time, but it was still awesome.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I've made a post about my first day or so in Seattle. There are only a few Buffista appearances, but a lot of pictures of the city from Columbia Tower.

Yup. Scola beat me to that tidbit.

Oh and... GRONK

The launch event went very well tonight. We were at standing room only and since I know the seating capacity that means we had 150 to 160 people. The store had ordered 89 copies and we sold 84 of them, leaving B&N with 3 signed store copies and 2 unsigned copies holding the fort on the now-decimated front display, right next to a display of Twilight books...

The B&N peeps were VERY pleased.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The book launch was awesome. We had somewhere between 150 and 160 people. The store had ordered 89 copies, and we sold 84 of them, leaving 3 signed store copies and 2 lonely copies holding down the fort at the now-decimated display.

That sounds wonderful! I hope all of the signings go this well.

I would love that, but we both know this is our home-turf and we're likely to see much smaller turn-outs elsewhere.

Still, we can hope.

Spread the word!

Wow, that's awesome! Sadly, I didn't make it because I fell asleep. Erm. Stupid 5AM wakeup call after a weekend of buffistaness, and stupid Ironman in Coeur d'Alene that meant I had to sit in the Spokane airport and wasn't able to get an earlier flight back and take a real nap...argh.

Not that I'm disputing the above (meara knows me too well!), but was this in reference to the Gordian Knot of Naked Men?

No, no, I think it was in reference to Jilli knowing gay men in Seattle for you, and lamenting you not moving here. And I was like "Dude. Introduce them, he will travel!"
