ZOMFG, I woke up to a gazillions of shiny, attractive and funny people on my computer monitor (not to mention, some Very Vortexian Body Parts). And I was in my pajamas, just woke up... and was pretty much speechless.
You guys made me come to the F2F, in a way. I'm not sure I'll be able to erase that smile off my face anytime soon, even with my very glamorous studying material (yay dysentery and Crusades!). I Still can't believe this is how I opened my day. It was such a pleasure to see you all. Thank you so much for including me and talking with me. And hey, I made it to the Prom!

Well, I installed Skype and had good intentions, but I had out of town visitors and it didn't happen. So I have to wait for the pretty shiny people to show up in pictures.

Yes, Barb, I agree, Shir's pictures are a good start, and it tickles me that at least for those with Skype, there was a way to be there for those who can't be there. I'm waiting with bated breath for more pics.
Don't forget the folic acid and plenty of water for those who have hangovers.

wow, prom was brilliant this year. matilda was bellydancing along with smonster in possibly the high point of cute&adorable for this weekend; sean got naked on the internets as a room full of people watched; pink fizzy vodka ruled the night, and by that I mean jilli is taking over the world; everyone was smokin' and the making out commenced.
it's times like these that this thread title is wholly accurate.
Video conferencing into the party was nowhere near as good as actually being there, but it was cool to virtually attend.
