And Kaylee, what the hell's goin' on in the engine room? Were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Leave our bags at the concierge desk and hang out in the bar? Wait, that doesn't sound so bad.

I can work with that plan. Also, very often hotels will let you check in well in advance - the stated time is just covering their bases in case the room isn't ready.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Zenkitty, I'll look for you in line. I'm pretty sure I'll recognize you...

Vortex, I haven't gotten the list, in my regular or spam folders.

We are at the airport. Our first flight is delayed. We should theoretically still make our second flight.

Omnis, don't pack the sunblock, it doesn't sound like it's regulation. You won't need much when you're here anyway.

The TSA locks are usually sold at airports. We use them and are very pleased with them.

Fay's plane should be landing in about 30 minutes. I am up, washed and fed and heading out the door very soon.

Yay for Fay!

Thanks Pete for the advice, I left it out JIC.

:: drum roll :: I AM PACKED! With 30 minutes to tidy the apartment. I only got 3.5ish hours of sleep, but hey, who needs sleep going into a weekend of partying?

Aaaaannnd I just got a text message from Alaska Air that my flight is delayed 24 minutes. Ugg.

Laga, if my flight gets delayed more, and you want to take the bus before I land, I completely understand. Send me a text so I'll know.

I'm guessing there are some strong westerly winds blowing?? Or Alaska Air is very optimistic:

Scheduled---Actual-----Arrival--Scheduled---Actual
2:05 PM---ETD 2:29 PM--Seattle--4:20 PM---ETA 4:18 PM

Leave 24 minutes later, arrive 2 minutes sooner. We shall see!

Our wings are not tired.

I am anxious for everyone's trips to go without a hitch, but I am particularly on the edge of seat waiting to hear that Fay has indeed arrived safely. It would be lovely to hear that ND had a flight without delays for a change too.

So who will volunteer to be my proxy hugger? I require enthusiastic hugs delivered to all the huggy peeps, and gentle hand touches and air kisses to those who prefer a bit more personal space.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Who knows, my flight might be delayed too.
