Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

'The Girl in Question'

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

AAA tells me that the drive from Portland to Seattle is 2 hrs 52 minutes. My experience says this expects me to drive *under* the speed limit the entire time which is totally unreasonable.

PSA: AAA now allowes ANYONE with an internet connection to print out yer own triptiks. No waiting in line or showing of card, no proof of membership at all except being able to find the website. I find this noteworthy.

Our wings are not tired

I think it is just indicative of how pervasive and cheap portable GPS has become.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think I'm done packing. I don't have a few toiletries -I'll have to pick them up somewhere.

OK Alarm set for 10am. I don't know why I think I'm going to be able to sleep. I keep thinking of things I want to pack. Which: tough toenails because there isn't any more room.

3:30am. Just getting home from work. So much for day off before travel. Need to pack. Need to sleep. Not sure which to do first. Ugg. Thankfully not an early morning flight. Bah. Can't wait to see friends. I love getting to destinations, I just hate the process of traveling.

Ditto, Omnis. We are just now starting to pack things up and get the house ready for housesitting. We don't have a crack of dawn flight, but we need to be leaving here by 7:30. I think we'll be lucky if we get three hours of sleep at this point.

travel question(s):

I have "Continuous sunblock spray, no pumping needed", is it an aerosol? Should I not pack it? How needed is it in Seattle? Should I just buy local?

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm leaving J-lem and internet access for the weekend soon, to be reunited on Saturday.

I can't wait to see you all, webcamwise, on the Prom.

This is gonna be excellent.

Woot! Webcam Party!! :: throws glitter ::

Question for the travel wise. Luggage locks. Yes? No? Allowed? Not sure what the TSA is thinking one minute to next. Last couple trips I've zip tied my bag closed with no problem. Except when I got to the hotel in DC only to realize my pocket knife was in the zip tied luggage. D'oh!
