You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Front desk says a cab from the airport runs about $35-$45.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

IIRC, we've had issues with this in the past which suggest it may not be a good idea.

Oh, duh. Of course.

Then my question is P-C's question.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeowch.

A bus is $1.50. Looks like the 174 goes to SeaTac from University Station about every half hour on Sunday.

We did? I may have been drunk.

Yeowch indeed.

Any idea how late that bus runs?

I don't know the Seattle airport, but I'm assuming it's worth $20 to get an on-site car through Budget vs. taking the shuttle to Dollar, right? Both have on-site counters, just not cars.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I looked at the shuttle info, and IIRC there's one hotel exactly on the opposite corner of the square block that the hotel sits on (two blocks to walk the regular way, or the square root of C squared blocks if you can manage to burrow straight through the diagonal leg of the triangle), and it's only $10 or $11.

At the SF2F, a mildly disturbing lurker from another Buffista's "other" board showed up and bullshitted his way in by dropping various names. Then he made all the ladies uncomfortable, until Pete butched up and got all loomy at him, causing him to flee, tail 'twixt his legs, never to be seen again.

It did seal the utter and delicious adorability of Pete, so it's not like no good came of the incident at all, but now that we all know exactly how adorable he is we don't really need a repeat.

Every half hour till 11:33, then 12:03 and 12:33 and 1:23 leave from 2nd and Pike, then 2:15 and 3:30 leave from Union and 4th. But I don't think anyone has a flight THAT late.

Oh my! I didn't know about that! I was just re-reading my post about that F2F, and I even made a comment that anyone could have found out the location of the Hospitality Suite; I didn't realize someone HAD.

Thanks for the hotel shuttle info! That's a cheaper option than the cab and may be more convenient than the bus; I'll look into it.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

In keeping with the traditional Buffista f2f greeting, I have a haircut appointment this afternoon. Only to get the ends trimmed, but still! I am sticking with tradition!

Bless you, you beautiful creature.

I'll not call you a beautiful creature lest your Mother hunt down my White Devil Woman ass, but bless you as well.

Oh. Right. Now I remember.

(And yes, some of the blame goes to the demon rum.)
