So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm not giving away the good ones. *g* They're not bad, though. They're just something to read.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

At the risk of furthering a tangent, I'm halfway through Vulcan's Glory right now and gosh Number One was awesome.

Hah. I'm mostly looking for TOS ones that I read at one point and have forgotten since, but everyone reminded me of in the bingeing on new movie....

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

SA! I was just thinking about you -- clearing out the hideous mess that is our bedroom, I found your little present for Matilda and the sealed letter addressed to her on the occasion of her 13th birthday. Both will be on prominent, enticing yet not quite accessible display, to give her life a touch of mystery and secret benefactors and all that good stuff.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Then I shudder to think of what Jager tastes like.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Argh.

Okay, my bad. I neglected to add in the bartender fee ($140) and the A/V fee ($75) when I was giving the estimates for Prom monies, plus, there's some nifty little taxes upon taxes I didn't know about. They're not much, but it adds up.

Upshot is, we're about $300 short. Because I screwed up, I would eat that, but I can't, as I am unemployed.

However, if I reduce the hosted bar to $800 instead of $1000, we're okay.

I don't want to make people pay much more. I don't want to have to say this at all, but so it goes. What are people's preferences here?

And, I am so sorry.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I have no problem reducing the hosted bar, but I don't drink, so my preference is irrelevant.

And, I am so sorry.

It happens. Thanks for all the work you've done organizing this thing!

I'm a light drinker, so I would lean toward lowering the hosted bar, but I would say that wouldn't I?

I am fine with whatever resolution comes.

In Weather News, Friday is looking like mostly cloudy and 72° and Saturday is mostly cloudy and 68°.

Our wings are not tired.

Reduce hosted bar please.
