Heh. Yes, the dessert is on Cap Hill. As someone said, when after the duelling ice cream and custard places opened, the plans for teh cupcake place are in place, adn the chicken and waffles place opened, "it's a conspiracy to get the hipsters fat, and out of their skinny jeans!"
Plei and I also thought and conspired that people should bring books to read on teh plane TO seattle, dump them in the hospitality suite, adn trade books to read for the plane HOME from seattle...

Huh. Anyone interested in Star Trek?
I usually bring several books, I have a 6 hour flight.

Hee. Well, I don't often encounter frozen custard places (I thought those were only in the south? The only time I've had frozen custard is in North Carolina), so I'd like to stop by somehow.

I have a two-hour flight! I'm trying to figure out how many
Powers
trades to bring.

oooo! I was going to bring my Kindle to save space, but this is such a good idea, I think I'll make room for a few actual books.
We have lovely frozen custard right here in northern Illinois.
The place is open seasonally - although they keep extending the season.
Oh, I am supposed to pass on the message from my pet DJ that he is Very Cross with you people that Prom will be keeping me away from the usual Saturday night gothy club. But that he understands, and hopes we all have fun.
You should invite any appropriate folk, I would think. Though I suspect the DJ has obligations.
OK, my current list for Friday dinner @ Wild Ginger is:
Toddson
Dana & DH
Zenkitty
Erin
SailAweigh
sj & TCG
Is that it? That makes nine, so even with the reservation we might be able to squeeze a tenth in. I'll hold off on calling for a few just in case, but it will be in an hour or so that I'll make the attempt.
I would like to do Wild Ginger (me+DH, that is) if I still can and don't make the group too big.
