Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Count me in for the Underworld tour! And, while I will probably only hum along softly as my voice is less than stellar (and you know, none of those songs are easy), I'd love a singalong to OMWF.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Funds update: $1755. We are now covered for the Prom minimum and the set-up fee, but not for tax/gratuity/other fees, which will come out to around $1850/$1900.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I have also yet to contribute. Will do that today, I believe.

IOstupidityN, I *still* haven't bought my ticket and prices have SKYROCKETED. Je suis le dumb. Arrgh.

I'm in on the Underworld tour and the OMWF sing-along.

Woot!

I'd love a singalong to OMWF.

I'd love to be AT the OMWF singalong, but as for participating, I wouldn't want to impose my voice on anybody. Tom Waits karaoke, maybe...if I was drunk enough and they had the right song selection.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I am in for both Underworld Tour and a OMWF singalong. And, fair warning: I *will* sing.

Probably not on the Underworld Tour, though.

smonster, don't feel stupid alone - I haven't bought my plane tickets yet either. Can't, until I get paid tomorrow, and hope my bonus money actually comes through.

Frank, cabs are def. the way to go, if you're only going from airport to hotel to restaurant.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'd just like to mention that, by popular demand, I no longer sing in public.

You can't be any worse than me! Just sit next to someone who can sing and sing slightly quieter than they do. In other words- I am up for a sing-along & psyched for an underground tour. I'm also interested in Kayaking and perhaps a pilgrimage to the REI flagship store.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

For Prom food & drink: we'll have an open bar until we reach $850. Food-wise, we're going to have fresh veggies, fresh fruit, bread & spread, chips & dip, and cookies. If people think that they'll be less likely to eat the cookies, I can reduce that and add that total back in to the bar.

We have the room from 6 until midnight - I thought 8 would be a good time to kick the party off, but is that too late?

I am more likely to drink than eat cookies.

eta- 8 sounds good to me.

Also, don't forget that the hotel has the (free!) Wine Reception every night from 5-6, with Guitar Hero on Fridays.

Mmmm, free wine.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Juliana, that all sounds fantastic. Thank you.
