The hotel tells me the room block is sold out. Bah.

I can't help but call BS on this. I could have sworn the room block was just about being within a certain section of the hotel and that there was no cap on how many rooms could be booked at that rate.

Juliana, can you check the contract?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I actually may end up going with the other hotel anyway. I didn't want to have to walk several blocks, but right around the corner is fine, and the parking is substantially cheaper.

I will call the hotel today and check on the rate. There might be an issue of them being totally sold out of that kind of room.
