F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Not sure how this works, if it's pick x number from each list, or x number from the whole list, or if we will do ::gasp:: preferential voting.
As I outlined in the post, I'm getting a feeling for what people want and using that, among other factors, to make the decision. So just mention what looks good to you.
Just as long as we have something for the veggies like me
Dude, of course. I wouldn't let one of my best girls go hungry.
Juliana, a going to circumvent PP fees and give a check to you this week.
Teh Awesome.
One of the appeals of Green Envy is that it looks like its yummy vegetarian fare.
The appeal of Green Envy to me was tat it seemed to have an interesting variety of flavors.
That's what I meant by yummy. I happened to notice that it was also vegetarian. I think.
F2F folks who don't ordinarily do so, might take a look at Bureaublahblah. IJS.
as a vegetarian who tries to take it easy on the dairy, i have, perhaps, stronger opinions? My votes:
App: fruit plate, chips n dips Rec: greens w/ envy Desert: yum! oh wait, choices. Cookie monster and left bank look like a nice assortment and easily portable.
I'm happy with any and all of the appetizers. I don't see a need for reception stations.
wrt Underground Tour. Not sure if there is more than one of these, but I went to this website: [link] And saw them mention:
Be prepared for the underground landscape to be moderately rugged. You’ll encounter six flights of stairs, uneven terrain and spotty lighting. So dress for the weather and leave the kitten heels at home.I sent an e-mail asking about the stairs, mentioning I'm on crutches, but get around fine, but if it's a six flight climb, I would slow down the group. They responded:
The stairs are six flights total. Not all at once. If you are good at the crutches it shouldn’t be an issue. I hope to see you when you come on down to the tour.
I thought I'd post, in case there were others interested, but unsure of what they were in for.
Omnis, I've done the tour and I think you'd be okay. Basically you are beneath the street level for the whole thing, but just one level down, so there are a few times that you climb up to street level, then back down to the underground. They've got it pretty organized as well.
