C is for Cookie, that's good enough for me.
Bread is always good when people are drinking, yes?
I feel like we almost have to get the guacamole.
The Reception Stations sound good, but not necessary after dinner.
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Vortex, I think the Public Market you're talking about is Pike Place Market. It certainly is worth a tour, not just for the food but also the curio shops. However, it is INSANELY busy on weekends. Fair warning. Oh, it's also where the world's first Starbucks is, and it is still has the original logo.
Toddson, the book store with cats might have been Twice Sold Tales. There's a fairly large one of those on Capital Hill.

I don't know, I'm all for having a light dinner and then chowing down at the Prom.

That really isn't how things have worked out at previous F2Fs.
From the menu...
The appetizers; I like everything but the chips and dip. I'm sure I'm in the minority. Jilli might have issues with rabbit.
If the selection for reception stations is split into the three titles then I think I like the Green with Envy most. I've no idea about their sushi, and I'm not fussed on a slew of seafood.
As for dessert, they all look great but I think 'The Left Bank' looks like a little slice of heaven.

Yes, I'm aware. But I'm only speaking for myself, not others.
Though a few peeps in this thread have mentioned trying to save more space for Prom food, so it's not just me.
I've found that I'm busy enough that I don't get around to eating at Prom.
And consider - even if Jilli is all right with the rabbit, Clovis might have some serious issues.
And, for Jilli (there is an image of the dread arachnid, but it's a drawing, and not very realistic).
The rabbit seems like it'll appeal to a pretty narrow range of tastes. Between the rabbit, the terrine, and the olives, that's like a threefer of foodstuffs on which people are, um, highly opinionated.
Without knowing what or how much we need to buy, I'd say maybe four things from the appetizers and two or so on the desserts. The only station one that grabs me personally for this environment is the sushi, though they all do look good.
snerk ... all the terrine needs is cilantro to make it a perfect, um, conversation piece.
Not sure how this works, if it's pick x number from each list, or x number from the whole list, or if we will do ::gasp:: preferential voting.
Pretty much all of the Appetizer listing were, um, appetizing.
None of the Reception Stations had much appeal to me, especially since fish food can do me in.
As for desserts. If I had to choose, I'd go with (in order of pref): COOKIE MONSTER, JUMBO CHOCOLATE INDULGENCE COOKIE, THE LEFT BANK, LEMON BLUEBERRY TART, VANILLA MOUSSE. (sorry for the caps, I was lazy and copy/pasted).
