Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Seattlistas, what do you think of this as an airport-to-hotel transport option? One of the stops is the Fairmont Olympic, which looks to be only a couple of blocks from the Hotel Monaco.

Yes, I think that's what I was meaning when I said there was a shuttle-y thing that went to downtown hotels! :) Thanks dcp!

They have a counter alllllll the way down at the end of the baggage claim, but it's pretty obvious once you walk all the way down there.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Hotel update: We are at 33 room nights - they extended the block to be Thursday-Saturday. The deadline for reserving within the guaranteed block is May 26, which is not the deadline for the 40-room minimum.

Has anyone who is planning to come not made their reservation??

Funds update: we are at $1100. They will be charging my card on June 15 for the estimated total, and then will charge any remainder after the event. That being the case, I would really love to have all of the funds by June 15.

Thanks to everyone who has sent in and made their reservations!!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

juliana, I've done a bit of eBaying and will send you my chunk as soon as I've done a bit more (and if anyone knows anyone who likes vintage bathing suits and would like to bid on a '40s suit in near-perfect condition, let me know and I'll post a link when it's up).

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

That being the case, I would really love to have all of the funds by June 15.

How much are we estimating per person, again?

Our wings are not tired

I think it was around $50 PC. Usually those folks who can afford send more to help cover the folks who are really struggling to pull together enough cash to attend.

JZ - we can also meet up for coffee whenever.

How much are we estimating per person, again?

$40-50, depending on how many attend.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Woo! Yay Todd!

I finally broke down and bought my other ticket from SF to Seattle. I kept trying to find a sale or a promo code, and ended up spending $50 more than if I'd just bought the damned thing. Grrr.
