Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

Our wings are not tired

Well, we are staying for 4 nights, but only 2 of them count towards the room block since only Friday and Saturday night count. We are booked and confirmed.

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Have we got an idea how many we have hit so far?

Juliana would probably be the only person who could find out and it seems a tad early to star worrying.

We could do a head count here. I know I've booked for 2 room nights, so has Drew (with Kristin), so has Juliana (with Vortex?). There's Omnis & Laga...

That's 8 room-nights off the top of my head.

Looking through the last few posts, it seems we also have dcp, Megan Walker, Trudy Booth, Javachik, Erin & Polter Cow. That anything from 6 to 12 more nights depending on if any of them are sharing.

Still, that's still only halfway to 40.

I don't know if Meara, Plei & Paul or JZ are planning on staying at the hotel on Saturday night...

So, who else is planning on attending and isn't on the list above?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

We've got three more weeks to book, right?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

its a shame that the thursday and sunday night bookings don't count, since I'll be there those as well. Is there any way we can push this question? After all, it was because of the Buffista event that I'm staying at the hotel the other nights. Just an idea. Dunno how these things work.

The contract is signed. I can't see how there's any room for negotiation now.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Is there any way we can push this question?

I tried, but she finally pushed back on that. If it's looking like we won't make the block, I'll try again.

Our wings are not tired.

I am staying Friday and Saturday in my own room, but I've told Megan she can crash with me Saturday night.

Our wings are not tired.

The Holt family will have 2 rooms for the nights in question. We are actually staying before and after to have some family vacation time, but I need to get the basketball schedule before I can book. This weekend that should happen.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Matt and I love to sample food in different towns, so he and I usually discuss restaurants ahead of time (speaking of, any thoughts?) and then invite any and all to join us. Always a good time, but usually stuffed for prom. Even the time that we tried to do tapas and eat light, we managed to sample a little too much. :)

I've been HIGHLY recommended WILD GINGER, which is a few blocks from the hotel, it seems. Pan-Asian. It does top the Seattle Zagat for popularity, and gets a very good food rating, so it may be something we'd need to make reservations for in well advance, but I'm going there one way or the other. I think they also do lunch, so that might be an alternative. Any local-istas have a take on it?
