Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Damn, Southwest has really cheap flights from Oakland.

Is anyone coming in on Thursday? I want to come early an extra day to see non-Buffistas, but I don't know what the deal with the hotel is, if A) the Buffista rate will hold on Thursday night and B) if there will be people to split a room with. I am seeing if anyone I know has crash space.

Although, damn, it really is tempting to stay for Jilli's book release, although, again, lodging would be an issue. I could take a 6am flight Wednesday morning and still make it into work.

The Buffistas rate will be in force on Thursday and Sunday, we cleared that with the hotel. Dunno about splitting with folks, that I can't promise.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Polter-Cow, I'm arriving Thursday at 2 p.m., leaving Monday at 1 p.m.

Last I saw, Frankenbuddha, omnis_audis, and Laga are all planning to arrive Thursday. Also possibly Noise Design and PixKristin, if their schedules allow.

Our wings are not tired.

I'm booked too! Arriving late Thursday, departing 4pm on Monday.

“Not dead yet!”

We're planning Thursday through Monday as well, but no real idea on flights yet.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Going to the F2F was looking like it was a no-go, but it may be a go again. I'll know more next week.

“Not dead yet!”

I really freakin' hate living in a city that has crappy FLIGHTS.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Contract time!!

1 Queen - $169 for 2 ppl.
2 Queens - $179 for 2 ppl.
Additional people - $15 per night per person. Room tax - 15.6%

(2 King Suite are also available at the $179 rate, however, they will not be within the room block.)

(ND and Pix, email me about the suites adjoining the hospitality suite - it's a higher rate.)

Party room setup - $150
Party food & bev minimum - $1500 (they did not raise the rate, le woot)
Party gratuity 14%, party tax 7% PLUS WA state tax

They have set the cut-off date for May 19, which I am going to request be pushed back to May 26, since it took them so long to get me the contract.

Does this sound acceptable to everyone?

NEXT STEPS

In order to ratify the contract, we need a) someone's credit card to hold all of this and to be run at the end of the F2F and b) someone to gather the money and hand it over to whomever. I am willing to do both, but if someone else would like to, I'll step down.
