I've been enjoying hot toddys this winter - lemon, honey, cinnamon stick, whiskey (or rye or bourbon), hot water. Super-easy and if you don't like whiskey you can just add more honey and lemon.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
I will take any unwanted whiskey. Happily.
I need to hit up one of our liquor superstores to see about getting a new bottle of fancy Whiskey. Not sure if there is any more St. George's small batch whiskey out there, but if so, I want it.
I kinda want to set up a "birthday cocktail" station for the party tomorrow featuring whiskey, but I normally drink my whiskey straight. Never been a big fan of Manhattans or Whiskey Sours. What is a good "starter" whiskey cocktail? (I know this is Natter...so I'm gonna crosspost my question there).

Brandy in these parts. We've been drinking a lot of them this winter.
I understand that Old Overhold (sometimes referred to as Old Overcoat) is pretty bad ... but I'm not a drinker, so what do I know.
Old Overholt is a very tasty whiskey, especially at its price point.
I'll take your word for it. Like I said, not a drinker.
And, for some, you can now have a drink with your significant other.
Scola... trains to Baltimore go through Philly. Just sayin'. (though I need to match calendars)
LAistas! I will be in your city 3/28-3/31 doing things. I would love to see you. I will have an HPF in tow, I think!
Aarrrgh! Of course that's when I'm out of the country. Sorry to miss you, hippo!
When do you get back?
I know I'm kinda new (or recently returned, whatever) but I am relatively unemployed at the moment and with an overabundance of free time, so if anyone finds themselves in the Miami area, I would love to get together!b
