Aurelia, I do have a work dinner, but I don't know what time. Basically, we have a meeting until 4:30 or 5, and then at some point dinner. I don't know if it will be soon after the meeting (like 6), or later. If it's later than 6, I could meet you after the meeting ends. I'll just have to post here tomorrow when I know.

I don't know if she'll be available, but I'm hoping hoping to be able to meet up with Epic for breakfast tomorrow -- at Wallis Simpson's house! Or her house when she lived in Coronado. Which we can only get to (and have free breakfast) because I got to my hotel so late last night that they had to upgrade me into the swanky part. I mean, the swanky swanky part of this already swanky place. It's a freaking gated community within a luxury resort. Crazy!
The desk person told me to keep an eye out for famous people - as she sent me to the second, separate building where they give you the keys in this part of the hotel. Since obviously I don't want my room key from the [shudder] front desk.

Yours is crazier than mine, for sure. Though I'm annoyed that it's 24 hours out and no one has let us know what the dinner plans are. I'm starting to think that, despite them telling us there are plans for a dinner, they're going to wait until 4:30 tomorrow afternoon to ask us if we want to go to dinner and then people will hem and haw and there will end up being no dinner, in which case I am going to have a drink with aurelia and then eat an expensive dinner in my hotel's restaurant. And then maybe use the pool. I should pack my swimsuit.

Seriously, I subscribe to this thread just to enjoy seeing other Buffistas enjoying spending time together since I don't seem to get out and about as much as I should.
Teppy, it looks like I won't be available until after 6 and then I'll need to stay close to the theatre.
Boston-area Buffistas, may I ask for some advice? My mom is flying in there for my great-aunt's memorial service on the 20th, but her flight arrives in Logan at 2:15 a.m. She'll be staying in Maynard, so she was thinking of hanging around the airport until the buses/shuttles start running. Is that foolishness? Is there somewhere for her to go for those hours that's easy to get to and safe? Should she rent a car instead?
