I am SO bummed I didn’t get to see you today, Jessica. I ran my 20 miles and it wasn’t pretty. That combined with having to chaperone a school dance last night and finally getting the green light to move back into the house has eaten both my time and brain.
F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us
Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Well, here's a plot twist - my flight was cancelled so we have another chance to make plans tomorrow!
My brain is too fried from rebooking travel plans to work properly but we will have the car for another day so if someone suggests a place to meet up I will go there. Otherwise I'll probably just spend all day hitting refresh on weather.com and feeling sorry for myself...
[edit: Right now we're booked on a Tuesday flight, but I'm really hoping something opens up for Monday because I really miss my kids.]
Hurray! Am only half awake but will check in the morning. I could meet for brunch or dinner, I think. I'm going to be working on my house with my friend from 12:30 - 5:30 or so.
Just woke up...I think I may have needed some sleep! Any plans made? ETA: traffic will be light today, and I'd love to show you around Pasadena! La Grande Orange is a great place for dinner...
Also I have free passes to Huntington Garden and Library (want to see the First Folio? A Gutenberg Bible? Amazing rare books and some of the most beautiful gardens you'll ever see). They close at 4, though, so let me know.
I want to try getting a tattoo, and then maybe the farmers market for lunch? Right now we're doing a quick target run for extra socks and underwear!
I would love to see Huntington gardens though, so if the tattoo place can't fit me in right away I'll give you a buzz!
Taking it to text...
So, I will be in SF from about noon-ish Saturday through Tuesday evening. The memorial is Sunday.
I haven't posted much about organizing a get together cause I've been sick and am just now feeling human again. I don't know how much of this will carry over into the weekend.
Would anyone be up for dinner Monday night in SF somewhere? I might even be able to do lunch Monday and/or Tuesday in SF too.
Well, sounds like Monday night doesn't work for anyone. What about Saturday night? Dad hasn't specifically made plans with me for Saturday, so I could make that work.
Oops, I totally thought I responded to you, Suzi, but I guess I only did that in my brain. I can do Saturday or Monday night, but Saturday may be more convenient for other SFistas.
Maybe tagging people on FB would help corral us?
