Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

'Get It Done'

F2F5: I forget that everyone isn't us

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

It probably would be if the food weren't so delicious, but you won't want too much liquor filling you up and preventing you from eating more.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I will likely pass on Commanders since I've been before but open to alternative recommendations.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

You have to be a little dressy for Commander's. There is a limit of 3 on the cheap martinis. I still haven't decided if I'm taking Monday off or not. I'm also going to pass on dinner at Commander's, if that ends up being where people go Monday night.

Excuse me if I seem weird, I'm at the airport and fighting off a migraine.

ETA St. Louis is literally the hottest place in the city and there is almost no shade, so prepare to sweat. Also, ten minutes from that cemetery to CP is pretty optimistic. I would leave 20 to be safe. Lafayette is across the street from CP, just FYI.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

Amy Preb and amyth are the same Amy, so you can cross one Amy off your list.

(Almost recreating Buffista Conversation #57.)

But from the stroke-induced babble Strix's keyboard is putting out, it looks like amyth might have been meant to be amych?

meara - Aug 27, 2015 2:50:09 pm PDT #11372 of 12685

Aww man. I'm so jelly. I wish this had started to be planned like, a week earlier--because y'all started planning this about a week after I'd already made plane reservations with my BFF for a whole different city. Otherwise I'd so be there.

I mean, I'm pretty sure amych isn't coming! Which is why I think there's only one Amy. (On your list, I mean! )

amyth=Amy Preble in RL=amyth71 on email

amych=Amy H. in RL

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I propose that amych and amyth merge into SuperMechaAmy.
