flea, that would be great! We'd love to see you again. Are you thinking sometime during summer vacation? If so, I'd suggest aiming for sometime prior to July 9, if possible (that being Seabiscuit's* due date). Though I'll be on maternity leave through mid-October, so a later date could also work.

*Seabiscuit the fetus, not Seabiscuit the dog -- though I'd like to meet the canine version at some point, too.

I'd love to come down for this shindig, I haven't been back to Nashville since the Athena was being installed. I need to pay her a visit too, and eat some olives on the lawn in her honor again. It's about an 8-hour drive for me, so I could be there in the early afternoon on Friday. Is there a hotel we've settled on yet?

Downtown, there's the Clarion I can do on my points, but it is expensive if you're paying cash monies. And it may be full on those dates. It's been going in and out of availability while I've been checking.

There's the Comfort Suites Airport. How far is that from you, and from stuff, Kate?

I'm open to staying anywhere within a reasonable price range. The airport is about 10 miles from downtown, as I recall.

The airport is about a 12-minute drive from my house, though that number can increase dramatically during rush hour -- seems like traffic has gotten much worse here lately. But it's otherwise an easy drive and not too far. There aren't many hotels right in my 'hood, so anywhere either downtown or near the airport would work just fine.

Looks like that one is at about $178 which is still pretty high. Want to take a look at this list and see if there's something that works for you guys? We also don't have to be at the same hotel if it's going to be a hassle. [link]

Airbnb is also an option, especially if you guys wanted to share a place (Liese, I'm not sure what your needs are for the weekend, so I don't know if that will work for you). This place is just a couple miles from my house, in a nice little neighborhood -- just across the street from the last place we lived before we bought our house! [link]
