Pix, I will try to be there. Saturday is a certifiable nutty day, but we're going to try to make it in the morning. Barring everything be okay on our end.

Plan what to do, what to wear (you can never go wrong with a corset), and get ready for the next BuffistaCon.
Kat, lots and lots of ~ma to you and Grace. I hope I'll have the chance to see you, too.
As you all know, I have a local number now. Thing is, I really couldn't log into any site - b.org, twitter, my email account from it. Today I'll be mostly AFK, so if you need me, please call or text. Thanks!
Well, after a comedy of errors ( two streets with the same name, so I ended up saying "I'm standing on the corner waving my arms around, where are you?" And only having construction workers look at me funny) we found each other an hour late, so we got Vivace coffee quick and I stuck her on a bus to Amtrak, rather than get a big omelette and stuff. Oh well.
Darn, Shir! We're going to be ships in the night, I think. :(
I've got an extra kidlet in the house tomorrow, and Thursday's all booked up with work.
Our nephew is getting married on Saturday, so that's what we're doing.
I do find it funny, that my Netflix cue has "Waltz With Bashir" arriving at my house at almost the same time as Shir arrives in SoCal.
Hosted Shir in Olympia today. Showed her Tumwater falls, and the over the top Greco-Roman-French envy architecture of the capital. Between that, lunch and some shopping she wanted to do, that filled the hours she had. And then when I dropped her back at the train station, her train turned out to be way behind schedule. I would have stayed to wait with her but some of my health issues were starting to kick in and I needed to drive home while I could still drive at least somewhat safely.
Pix, when you get a sec, can you email or text me your street address so I can figure out how close the various motels actually are to you for Saturday?
Thanks ever so.
Insent! Apologies. I've been stupid busy.
Oh God, guys. I hardly had sufficient computer time to answer urgent emails, not to mention updating here. I try to spend as much time as possible with my online friends, which tend to result in much AFK time. This is a strange paradox.
after a comedy of errors
It was lovely to meet you in person, and I am so sorry again. I had no idea here you have an X st., and an X ave., and an X st. SE, and an X st. NE. I'm also wondering if your country is doing it on purpose in order to confuse me. Thank you for the coffee!

I'm not sure if you'll be surprised or unsupervised to hear I managed to get lost again on my way there. Bus driver kindda forgot telling me when to get off, but thankfully I caught his error one stop later.

Oh, rats. I'll be hanging out with a friend downtown, but I can be around King Station 30 minutes earlier, if there's any chance you can meet me there around 2:30.

I had a tremendous amount of fun with Gar: talking, hiking in beautiful scenery, seeing architecture, having lunch, getting a cupcake, and finding some postcards of an artist I love. Thank you for taking the time to show me around, Gar.

Oh man. Ain't nothing funny about that specific film, hon.
Few last hours in Seattle, and then L.A.! I'm excited.
